Unfortunately, SOLF is cancelling the Mushroom Walk planned for October 31 at Beals Preserve. Jonathan Kranz, the mushroom expert who was going to lead the walk, advised us to reschedule for next year, remarking there are “slim pickings” as a result of the dry spell the last couple of weeks. In its stead, SOLF is offering a property walk and talk on October 31 from 10am – 12 noon, meeting at the Kiosk. Come and enjoy the fall weather with us.
